National Survey of Postsecondary Options for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
Think College has begun a national survey of postsecondary options for students with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. Hundreds of initiatives have been provided with a link to an online survey, and responses are coming in regularly. If you or someone you know is involved with an initiative of any kind, such as:
- a dual enrollment transition program for 18-21 year olds that involves the use of a college campus
- a partnership between a school district and a college that provides access to college
- a college program for adults with intellectual disabilities that is coordinated by an adult services agency
- services for individual students on a college campus
- another variation of college or university participation for students with intellectual disabilities
