Discussion on Joining Alliances: State Alliances Affinity Group Meeting

The purpose of this group is to give an opportunity to existing and potential inclusive postsecondary education programs and partners to discuss how and why these statewide alliances are important, how to maintain them, and more. Anyone working on any type of formal or informal state-level connection, proposing systems change through alliances and consortium, or those who are simply curious about how these alliances can work, is welcome. January Topic: Joining State and Regional Alliances

• This meeting will include a facilitated discussion around how folks have become engaged with a state or regional alliance, focusing on the infant stages of joining an alliance and/or starting a new alliance. We’ll also talk about existing barriers to joining an alliance, with a space for group members to provide input on how to address those.
