Additional information can be found on the AUCD website.
The Disability Policy Seminar is the premier event that cultivates champions on Capitol Hill and advances the grassroots movement for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). For over 40 years, this unique seminar has offered the opportunity for passionate advocates, self-advocates, experts, and professionals in the field to come together and learn about key issues.
The event features two days of informative sessions led experts in the field and offers opportunities for participants to discuss key issues with others from their same state. On the third day, armed with valuable information, attendees converge on Capitol Hill to speak directly with their representatives about the high-priority issues that affect them most.
This year, for the first time, Think College & AUCD have partnered to sponsor and support 5 pairs of advocates as Think College Policy Advocates to participate in training and activities to become better informed disability policy advocates. Learn more here.
