Fall 2018 NCRE/RSA/CSAVR National Rehabilitation Education Conference

The National Rehabilitation Education Conference is a means of facilitating communication and sharing information among professionals involved in training, recruiting, hiring and enhancing the development of qualified rehabilitation counselors. National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE), Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR) and Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). NCRE is excited to announce a special added feature to this year’s conference.

The Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on VR Practices and Youth will offer a unique set of State of the Science sessions related to delivering quality VR services to youth. The RRTC is partnering with several technical assistance centers to conduct sessions that address key challenges and suggest useful strategies for VR practitioners and educators. Themes include staff competencies needed to providing service to youth and young adults, using evidence to improve VR practices, and the VR role in inclusive higher education.
