Student Leadership Conference: How We Self-Advocate Across Campus and Beyond!

The Student Leadership Conference (SLC) is an opportunity for current and future college students to:

• Connect with peers from across the country
• Learn useful tools to empower your transition into college life
• Expand your potential to serve as student advocates and leaders in the growing field of inclusive higher education
• Have fun!

The SLC is committed to centering the voices, wisdom, and experiences of college students with intellectual disability. The SLC is open to all students, with an emphasis on young adults who are transitioning into college and current college students. The focus is on students with intellectual disability and their peers, including traditionally enrolled friends, classmates, and mentors.

The Student Leadership Conference is held in tandem with the State of the Art Conference on Inclusive Postsecondary Education and Individuals with Intellectual Disability.
