Expanding the Dialogue on Autism: Reflections on Research & Real Life in Community Life and Engagement

This event is third in a series of online talks which will engage experts in the field of autism, some of whom are on the spectrum themselves. The goal is to look at ways that people on the spectrum are shattering outdated expectations about their potential, their success, and their engagement in education, employment, healthcare, and community life.

This discussion will focus on the topic of community life and engagement. Moderating the discussion will be ICI Director, Tom Sannicandro. Our invited speakers will include:

Stacey Ramirez, Executive Director of the Arc Georgia

Lauren Weaver, Educational Consultant the Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) at the Vanderbilt University Kennedy Center in Nashville, Tennessee

Jennifer Sulewski, Ph.D, Senior research associate, Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI)

Finn Gardiner, Master of Public Policy student at the  Heller School for Social Policy and Management  at  Brandeis University
