MD Inclusive Higher Education Capacity Building Institute: Transitioning Youth

The Maryland Higher Education Commission invites your institution and local school system - as a team - to attend a Capacity Building Institute on Inclusive Higher Education options for Transitioning Youth (TY) with Intellectual Disability (ID). Join us to learn about how EMERGING PRACTICES are being used to support transitioining youth with ID (those who are still being supported by their local school systems until age 21) in colleges and universities. There are several members of both the IHE and school system leadership that may benefit from this event. We encourage IHE leadership from financial aid, academic affairs, and/or the office of diversity, For school systems, we encourage Special Education Administration and Transition personnel to be part of the team.
