Getting it Right AND Learning on the Fly: Prepared for College?

Join the NCC for the second presentation in the "Get to know the Think College National Coordinating Center" webinar series.

Getting it Right AND Learning on the Fly: Prepared for College?

Dee and Kathy, two moms of sons with intellectual and developmental disability, share what prepared their sons for the independence of college life. Lawrence (21 years old) began his college program at the University of Cincinnati last year and Pete, 30 years old, graduated from the University of Central Florida 2 years ago. Pete will also share his perspective of his 3-year college career; what worked well and some things that didn't. Through personal stories, they will also share a few surprises and hiccups along the way.

The presentation will share skill areas important for college success, key organizational strategies necessary for college success, limited and unlimited choices at college, and more!
