The MA Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Initiative (MAICEI) at Westfield State University provides students with intellectual disabilities between the ages of18-22 an inclusive dual enrollment opportunity. The program partners with local school districts to identify eligible students. Students enroll (credit or non-credit bearing) in a course that is aligned with their long-term employment/life goals. The students also have the option to participate in activities on campus to increase their self-determination skills, self-advocacy skills, social skills, health/wellness, academic skills, employment skills and enhance their overall quality of life.
