Model Program Accreditation Standards (Portuguese translation)
The Model Program Accreditation Standards for College Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities were finalized in September, 2020, following extensive development, refinement and review by hundreds of stakeholders. A final report to Congress was published in May 2021; it can be found here. The accompanying standards document can be found here.
In 2020, researchers at the University of Aveiro in Portugal translated the Model Program Accreditation Standards for College Programs for Student with ID. The release of the Portuguese edition of the Standards coincided with the first inclusive higher education program for students with ID in Portugal.
