Think College Policy Advocates information (2023)

AUCD and NCC are pleased to invite students and staff of postsecondary education programs for students with intellectual disability to once again apply to be Think College Policy Advocates (TCPA). Attached to this resource are the submission details, application, and letter of recommendation template for Think College Policy Advocate (TCPA) teams.

TCPA provides an opportunity to teach and grow champions on Capitol Hill and advance advocacy efforts for people with disabilities. Those selected for TCPA will learn about important issues related to disability, what it means to advocate and how, and will ultimately gather in Washington, DC to work together and visit representatives to talk about inclusive higher education, healthcare, employment, and other issues.

Applications are due by April 24, 2023. If you have any questions or need help with the application, please contact Caroline Jurisich at AUCD: cjurisich@aucd.org.

Visit our Think College Policy Advocates webpage to learn more about what TCPA is all about and read what some past Think College Policy Advocates have to say.
