Think College Policy Advocates information (2021)

Included here is the description of an opportunity for students and staff of postsecondary education programs for students with intellectual disabilities, offered by a partnership between AUCD and Think College National Coordinating Center (NCC), to attend the (virtual) Disability Policy Summit in 2021. The Disability Policy Summit (DPS) is hosted annually by multiple disability organizations and is the best opportunity to teach and grow champions on Capitol Hill and advance the grassroots movement for people with disabilities, offering the opportunity to come together with passionate advocates, self- advocates, experts, and professionals in the field to learn about key issues. The event will be held virtually this year via Zoom.

AUCD and NCC are pleased to invite students and staff of postsecondary education programs for students with ID to once again apply to be THink College Policy Advocates. Attached to this resource are the submission details, application, and letter of recommendation template for Think College Policy Advocates teams.
