NEW! Employment Coordinator of CarolinaLIFE at University of South Carolina. The Employment Coordinator will coordinate the employment domain of CarolinaLIFE. Within this role, the Employment Coordinator will: A) Work collaboratively with a part-time CarolinaLIFE Employment Support Specialist to supervise, oversee, and coordinate job-shadowing, internship, and employment for all CarolinaLIFE students; B) Supervise all employment coaches; C) Foster relationships with organizations (including, but not limited to Vocational Rehabilitation) and employers both on and off-campus; D) Create and/or maintain a system for sharing information on job development, student vocational assessments, and any other resources needed to help facilitate quality employment experiences for all CarolinaLIFE students; E) Work with employment coaches to monitor student progress in the workplace; F) Schedule and attend regular meetings with employment specialists and VR; G) Work with employment coaches to ensure that all student resumes are updated and turned in by the end of each semester; and H) Assist in the exit planning process.

Center for Developmental Disabilities at Oklahoma State University (OSUCDD) is accepting applications for Program Manager of Opportunity Orange Scholars (OOS). OOS is a two-year, residential, CTP program on Oklahoma State University's main campus in Stillwater, OK. The Program Manager will serve alongside the OOS program director, implementing and monitoring the long-term goals of OOS, supervise a team of student staff, and teach OOS courses. The Program Manager will report to the OSUCDD Director as a member of a larger team of faculty, staff, and students. The Program Manager will work to ensure OOS aligns with OSUCDD’s mission and goals, adheres to best practices in inclusive post-secondary education, and meets set program outcomes and timelines for activities each academic semester.

Peer Mentor Coordinator for Access ETSU at East Tennessee University. Access ETSU is accepting applications for a Peer Mentor Coordinator. The Access Peer Mentor Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and supporting students who receive services from Access ETSU and their peer mentor. This includes recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling. They will manage daily operations, coordinate schedules, and facilitate communication among a diverse group of individuals. The position will interact directly with students served by Access ETSU, peer mentors, potential applicants, and their families as well as departments and instructors across campus.

In collaboration with the Access ETSU team, the Employment Coordinator manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of the career development and employment aspects for students served by Access ETSU. The Employment Coordinator will guide peer mentors, job coaches, or other support personnel on his/her tasks and schedule and may provide direct supervision and job coaching services to students. Employment Coordinator will provide overall day-to-day coordination of program activities focusing on career development and employment to ensure timely completion, collaborate with a person-centered planning team to understand what the supportive employment environment looks like for each student, secure career internships, paid student jobs as well as other experiential learning opportunities based on students’ individualized career goals, and guide the peer mentors and job coaches to fulfill their job duties related to student career development and employment.

Academic Coordinator for Access ETSU at East Tennessee State University. The Department of Educational Foundations is accepting applications for an Academic Coordinator for the Access ETSU program. The Academic Coordinator, as part of the project team, coordinates academic advising and services for up to 20 Access ETSU students. This includes using a person-centered approach to providing high-impact student advising, developing individualized coursework adaptations, coordinating with other ETSU departments/programs regarding academics, accommodations, and instruction, and guiding other staff members to make and implement coursework adaptations. The Academic Coordinator will supervise peer mentors and be the lead staff member responsible for developing and implementing academic support systems in collaboration with other staff and the principal investigator. This position includes elements of systems change as well as individualized support and advocacy to develop a program that can be sustained beyond federal funding. Some travel may be required.

The UNH-4U & Bridges Associate Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Institute on Disability’s transition focused initiatives and programs, including UNH-4U (current TPSID) and the Bridges Training Series. This individual will supervise staff who deliver direct services to transition age youth and young adults. The Associate Director will, in collaboration with the Director and program staff, develop and oversee the implementation of innovative, evidence-based practices in supporting young adults with intellectual and developmental disability to transition into community life. They will also support and direct marketing initiatives and student recruitment. This individual will have expertise in evidence-based practices for transition to adulthood for youth and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and possess strong leadership skills.
