The Kennesaw State University Academy for Inclusive Learning is hiring an Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator manages and coordinates Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth (AILSG) operations. Responsible for budget management, fiscal reporting, admissions/enrollment and tuition payment procedures, hiring/management of student mentors, and AILSG activities in support of students and families. Initiates and/or assists with development of external partnerships and alumni/donor relationships. Initiates and/or assists with development/administration of AILSG policies/procedures. Organizes AILSG educational and outreach activities when necessary, including student and staff domestic and foreign travel experiences.

The Institute on Disabilities at Temple University is seeking a Coordinator for Academic Relations for its Leadership & Career Studies (L&CS), a four-year inclusive postsecondary initiative for students with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will be the liaison with faculty and administration and is responsible for overseeing the enrollment of L&CS students in undergraduate and continuing education courses at Temple University. The Coordinator of Academic Relations will conduct Person Centered Planning for students and will serve as a student advisor. They will work with each student and faculty member in developing accommodation plans for students; monitor academic progress; attend student Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings; and facilitate course registration, acquisition of textbooks and assist with other academic needs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for quarterly billing. The candidate must have three years of experience working with students with intellectual disabilities and a demonstrated passion for inclusive practices. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A Certified Teacher is preferred. Additional requirements include demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite; excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task; strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a diverse population of students, faculty and staff; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work occasional nights/weekends/early mornings; ability to travel to locations across Pennsylvania and occasionally nationwide.
