Integrated Studies at Millersville University is searching for an Assistant Director. This is a professional position in the field of inclusive postsecondary education and coaching for students with intellectual disability. Through supervision of Educational Support Coaches, Coach Facilitators, Mentors and Interns, the Assistant Director (AD) is responsible for the support and coaching of individuals with intellectual disability in academic, social, vocational, and residential environments within the university setting.
Responsibilities include supervising all staff, implementing the individualized support as described in the person centered plan, and providing daily information to professional level faculty & staff regarding individual progress. The Assistant Director (AD) oversees the individual’s progress in working toward academic, vocational, social, and independent living objectives. AD responsibilities include assisting in carrying out other mentoring activities relevant to staff. Work is performed in accordance with appropriate post-secondary inclusive strategies consistent with professional principles such as the culturally valued analogue. Work Hours: vary and may include weekends and evenings.

The Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities (NCED) in the College of Education (COE) at the University of Nevada Reno (UNR) provides comprehensive and direct program support to students in the Path to Independence (P2I) program. P2I is an inclusive, non-degree postsecondary education certificate program for students with intellectual/developmental disabilities. We are recruiting for a Project Coordinator who is responsible for project academic coordination, supervision, and communication for the P2I program. This is a part time position up to 50% (with benefits). Duties of this position will include but are not limited to: attending IEP (dually enrolled students) and person-centered planning meetings for each student; developing and monitoring learning agreements for P2I students; observing students in class; monitoring student’s coursework including missed assignments; monitoring and training project mentors, interns, and educational coaches and communicating with instructors, educational coaches and school district representatives.
