Changes in the Higher Education Act have made it possible for eligible students with intellectual disabilities to receive federal financial aid when they are attending an approved Comprehensive Transition Program or CTP. This module provides information to assist programs for students with intellectual disabilities at higher education institutions complete and submit an application that addresses all requirements. A CTP Application Template and a downloadable step-by-step checklist will guide programs through the entire application process. The module also provides examples of key components from successful CTP applications and other related resources.
