For the last 40 years, there has been a Disability Policy Seminar (DPS) in the nation’s capital, organized and hosted by numerous disability organizations. This powerful event cultivates champions on Capitol Hill and advances the grassroots movement for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This unique seminar has offered the opportunity for passionate advocates, self-advocates, experts, and professionals in the field to come together and learn about key issues.  This year, due to the very unique circumstances and need for social distancing, the in-person meeting has been cancelled, and replaced with three online events.

AUCD Offers 3 Virtual Policy Events
The Disability Policy Seminar is the premier opportunity to cultivate champions on Capitol Hill. AUCD will offer three virtual options in the place of our planned events. You can register for these events and participate even if you were not registered to attend the Disability Policy Summit in person.
