We're pleased to announce a partnership with the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE) for the NCRE Fall 2018 Conference with the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR) and Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). The RRTC on VR Practices and Youth (RRTC) is a collaboration between TransCen, Inc. (lead), Institute for Community Inclusion, and other partners, that addresses the gaps between knowledge and practice to improve VR practices and employment outcomes for youth and young adults with disabilities.

The RRTC is excited to be hosting a strand of sessions at the NCRE Fall 2018 conference, focused on the State of the Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Practices. Session descriptions and presenters will be announced soon.

The conference will be held Thursday, October 25 - Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Arlington, VA. Additionally, we’d like to announce that NCRE is accepting proposals for the conference based on the conference theme of “Employment and Social Inclusion: The Impact and Role of Rehabilitation Counselors.” Proposals are due Sunday, July 15, 2018 by 10:00pm PST. The Concurrent Presentation Call for Proposals can be found here and the Scientific Poster Presentation Call for Proposals can be found here.
