The Think College National Coordinating Center (NCC) at the Institute for Community Inclusion, UMass Boston is hiring a Knowledge Translation Associate to help spread the word about inclusive higher education. This position will work with the Knowledge Translation Manager to connect with partners, educators, families, and others around the country to share information about the what, why, how, and when of college options for students with intellectual disability. This will be done via a variety of channels, including social media, publications, websites, emails, newsletters, and more.
Part of the dissemination team, the Knowledge Translation Associate will participate in a wide range of activities including, but not limited to: writing engaging social media posts and creating graphics to accompany them; monitoring analytics of website and social media channels to determine any trends; creating a monthly newsletter to announce news and events of the NCC; creating articles for the website; ensuring content on the website is current and relevant; researching topics, people, and organizations to stay abreast of current news in the fields of disability, inclusive higher education, advocacy, and employment; and working closely with NCC staff and Marketing & Communications team.
